Suzhou had been planting jasmines since Song Dynasty (960-1279), and used the flowers to make tea. Because of its highest quality and fame, Suzhou jasmine tea became popular in China. Jasmine tea has the scents of green tea and jasmine flower both. The thickness of tea’s scent depends on the jasmine’s kind, harvest season and the proportion in the tea.
