Club G Plus began it all back in 1997 by opening up the first real club. Well, JJ’s was probably the first place to dance, but LA Disco, the former name of G+, definitely set the standard. They have a knack for attracting great DJs from all over the world, giving clubbers a taste of excellent music almost every week with their Thursday night Global DJ Parties. This truly is one of the few places in town to hear cutting edge stuff. You can get your own cozy little space upstairs (for a pretty penny), but if you stay downstairs, drinks are well within tight budgets.

 

Seriously as one of the best clubs in Hangzhou, G+ Club does not only have a wonderful interior, but also the fine music played there, the nice drinks and everything around is great. You don't have to pay to get in there, and if you don't let yourself be fooled and stay downstairs or at least order your drinks downstairs, you'll have loads of fun for little money. The pretty much play house music and give you a nice treat from time to time consisting of nice dancing performances. There are usually young Chinese and some foreigners.

 

DJ Calvin, a.k.a. Zhu Gang, has been working and progressing as a DJ since 1990. In the past ten years he's played for crowds all over China. His style lies mainly in progressive and trance music. His highly evolved energetic sound and honed technical ability combine to astound dance floors everywhere.

 

G+ Club is trying to get their back room hopping this night by doing a little back to school affair. Dress code is a black and white school uniform.
